Can a person in a compromised state due to illness still perform well as a leader? There is a strong case for answering no. After all, when the body is not functioning properly, how can the mind function? Should we allow ourselves to be led by someone who may not be up to the task?
We always suspected that something was wrong, and today, our worst fears were confirmed: he sneezed. Sneezing is a common symptom of autoimmune disorders and/or viral infection. Knowing this, how can he continue in his role as leader? We’re not saying he should resign, but we think someone else should say it.
Why has he not said anything on this matter? If he is sick, he should be honest about it, at least. We at OWFTN cannot support a leader who is not honest.
